Kids’ Programs

We have Some great kids programs at the library! Programs generally run in the fall and the spring.

To join us for these programs we ask that you pre-register your child. You can do that in person or by calling 250-782-4661.

Some of the programs provide snacks and drinks. These are all individually packaged. Please let the library know if your child has any allergies.

Babies and Books is a drop-in program for newborns up to age one and their caregivers. The group meets Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the children’s library to sing songs and rhymes and listen to stories.

Toddler Time is a drop-in program for one and two-year-olds and their caregivers. The group meets to sing songs and rhymes and listen to stories.

Tuesdays 11:00 am

Downstairs in the main area of the library

Library Kidz is for children from kindergarten to grade 7. Hang out with some friends and do some fun crafts and activities in the library!

Wednesdays 3:15 pm

Storytime is an one-hour program for children ages three to five-years-old and their caregivers. Children sing songs and rhymes, listen to stories, make a craft and enjoy a snack.
