Cognitive Care Kits

Cognitive Care Kits are now available through the library as a unique and innovative resource for individuals living with dementia and/or other forms of cognitive loss.
These kits have been developed based on research that focuses on enabling abilities and engaging people in activities that are aimed at stimulating the brain and fostering social connection with others.
The collection of unique dementia-friendly kits contains an assortment of prepared activities, games, and workbooks. Each kit contains 5-10 different activities.
- Large print and picture books: minimal text and bright pictures
- Conversation and reminisce: cards, pictures, books and games
- Brain games and fine motor engagement: word searches, crosswords
- And much more…
