This summer enjoy a perfect family night – take a stroll along the Dawson Creek walking path and read a children’s book posted at several points along the way. End at the public library with a parent-led craft! Every Thursday this summer from June 1 – August 24. Watch for a new book and craft each Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Enter the path at either the 8th Street and 110th Avenue entrance (across from the mall) OR the 15th Street entrance – then walk toward the public library.
The library will host a MS outreach and education session on Monday, June 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. Lonnie Facchina, Community Services Coordinator from the MS Society of Canada, will be offering an education session on resilience, followed by a conversation about services in Dawson Creek and how the society can help you in wellness. Register by calling 1-800-268-7582, ext. 7259 or email Lonnie at mssociety.ca
